Definitely read Anne of Ingleside if you ever have the chance; it’s one of my favorites Honestly though, it’s really hard to choose! I’d say Anne of Avonlea, Windy Poplars, and Rainbow Valley are some others. Rilla was lots of fun as well.
Oh, I loved Windy Poplars as well! I particularly remember the debacle with Hazel and her fiance XD And of course the whole Pringle feud XD
Rainbow Valley was just pure fun, I loved seeing all of Anne’s kids just being awesome!
If you’re looking for one, may I recommend The Means That Make Us Strangers by Christine Kindberg and the Calculated series by Nova McBee?
Always! Thanks for the recommendations!
I actually started The Means that Make Us Strangers and I’m about halfway through! I definitely find myself relating to Adelaide a lot XD (Perhaps a bit too much in some scenes XD I swear that time her Algebra teacher made the “I don’t know how you do it in Africa, but here–” comment, I felt my fight or flight response activate XD)
I also love how she picked such an interesting part of history to set it in! It’s much more interesting than if it were just contemporary.
What part did you like best about it?
I’m still learning as well xD And thank you!
Digital art sounds like a lot of fun, but I’m too scared of ruining my eyes, lol.
It’s awesome! Especially the “undo” key XD
I have never made sourdough… I’m really curious about it. I try not to spend too much time baking these days, though xD
Sourdough is awesome! The starter is pretty easy. It might have been just the recipe I used, but it used to take more than 24 hours to make the bread, including rising time. So if I wanted it on Saturday morning I’d usually have to start Thursday evening. In that case, I much prefer just using regular dried yeast XD
That sounds like a wild ride; I love chaotic characters~~ You’ll have to tell me more about the world too!
Oh, absolutely, the evil little gremlins are the best XD LOL, honestly, one of the biggest revisions I’ll have to do is the world XD I just don’t know much about it, and I really struggle with incorporating what I do know.
It’s one country run by seven tribes, who all function completely independently of each other, though they often cooperate. There’s a considerable amount of conflict at any given point, it’s great XD Two of the tribes are nomadic, the others are mostly stationary.
