@chalice – Yeah, worldbuilding is hard. Even though I write Fantasy, I generally start with real cultures and work from there. I have a culture based off Tongan culture, and another based off Scottish Gaelic. I use the culture and language and tweak it enough to make it mine, but it gives me a huge foundation from which to work. Helps me a ton!

Steve Laube is pretty amazing. He has great writing articles on his blog. Also, if you want some great Christian fantasy and sci-fi, Enclave publishing has some great stuff. It’s kinda the premier place for great books in those genres. 🙂

Uh-oh. Now ya done it. You’re on my list for possible future beta readers for my novel. 😉 I need to do a big edit before I have people read it for me again, and I’m going to write another novel first, but maybe in a couple years! Ha! Still, I’m collecting names now. No pressure, but when it comes time I’ll offer it to ya in case you’re still interested. 😀
