I know only Chalice is supposed to know about your real name, but can I go gaga over it for a minute? I LOVE YOUR NAME. I think Eden is a cool name, too, but Katriel sounds like something I’d choose for my pen name. 😉 My real name is actually Clarissa. RJ Karas is just my penname, for reasons. I totally want to name one of my characters after you! Their culture is based on Biblical Hebrew culture anyway, so . . . yeah. Super excited. Anyway, I just had to geek out about your name. I’m done now. *Excited squeal* Okay, NOW I’m done. 😉

By way of introducing myself (perhaps this should have come before the geeking out. *sigh* I’m a dork), I write fantasy as well! I’ve written one novel, and my “elevator pitch” is something like: “Tyrus, a young swordsman with a secret he dare not tell, finds himself caught up in a battle against the God he never wanted to believe in.”

Your Raven story sounds like fun! I love Robin Hood and Aragorn, as well as ulterior motivations. 😉 I know you said you’re just beginning, but how far along are you? What do you think would encourage you in your writing journey?
