It’s so funny you mention that, because just yesterday I found the coolest naming site ever! Okay, well, I think so. It’s not a name generator, as such, but you can find just the right one.

What I like about this is you can search for meanings as easily as actual names. You can also very easily narrow the search by origin. I write fantasy, so I have certain cultures that each of my countries is based on. So, if my character is from a country based on Sweden, for example, I could narrow the search to just include Swede names. Having name origins like that helps with consistency and “feel,” I think.

So, for your young lady, you could search for old English names that mean something that fits your character: “bubbles” or “flowers” or “peasant” or “star” or whatever. You know her best. Anyway, the possibilities are almost endless. Check it out! I’ve found great name inspiration on that website! 😀
