Just in case you were wondering if I suddenly died, I did not. (Unfortunately) I have started working (two jobs), so you may not hear from me too often…But I will still try my best! Here is a snippet from one of my stories that sort of fit in with the assignment. This is something I really need work on, so thanks @jane-maree!

Then everything came back to her. The operation of her nightmares. How the preparatory week went. The mock-operation. Yes, especially the mock mission! Anne snapped back to the person standing in front of her.

His flaxen hair was just as she remembered–softly glowing in the sunlight, whispering in the breeze. A white shirt and corduroy pants, simple loafers with that lemony scent resurrected memories she had buried. They never did stay buried, did they? A sigh escaped her lips. Trembling a little, she forced her chin up and gazed at the cornflower eyes in front of her.

“Conradt. You’re supposed to be dead.”
