@emgc I will sing the praises of the CLEPs. They are what allowed me to double major, since credits that I normally would be putting towards gen ed classes can be niche classes for my second major. I LOVE the CLEPs and would encourage anyone to take as many as they can. Have you taken any before?

I’m not really one to make resolutions because I know I won’t keep them, but there are some things I want to do this year.

• Finish my novel. I’m not completely starting over with the second draft, but I am fleshing out the world a lot more and I am sure that is going to have a lot of unforeseen consequences.
• Write consistently.
• Write a monthly newsletter. I actually sent out my first one today! If anyone wants to sign up, you can go to my website acaylor.com and a popup should prompt you to sign up. It has short stories and writing memes!
• Get a job. I’ve been freelancing but I want to get a job with a boss that isn’t myself, preferably something in the writing/editing field.
