Welcome @trallion !! We met in the chat. This is Amy. I am in charge of our monthly prompt wars. You can find this month’s thread about that here. It’s not related to the Embers Wide short story competition going on. This month’s deadline is June 30th, and the word limit is 2500 words.

We generally brainstorm for a week, and then write and edit the next week. We all brainstorm and edit, but this month only one person will be responsible for writing it. We can brainstorm directly on the thread, on this doc, or on a group chat. I try and update the doc to have the latest development in brainstorming, but I also tag the guild when we are moving forward in the next stage of writing.

The war is completely optional, but it is a lot of fun, and I know it has helped me grow as a writer. Let me know if you have any questions—about the war or the guild in general.
