I have beta-read before. I really liked it, but I tend to overly blunt and assertive. Once I gave a suggestion, which writer passed by an editor she had hired, and the editor commented on the fact that I had been very blunt. Oops. Luckily it was for my cousin, who knows what I am like and knows that I had her best interests in heart.

I am actually looking for a beta reader right now. *Wiggles eyebrows* Does anyone want to try out the snazzy new skills they got from the article? I posted information about it in this thread.

@sarah-inkdragon I like analyzing plots and movies too! One of my favorite channels is Nando v Movies. It doesn’t directly analyze movies, just how Nando would change them, but when he explains why he is changing them it he goes over the plot/theme that is relevant.
