My favorite character would have to be Linus Larrabee from the 1995 movie Sabrina, which also happens to be my all-time-favorite movie. (not the 1954 movie it was based on. and definitely not the 2018 movie! that one is something different.)

I’m not sure why I like him. There’s too many things I like about him, really. XD

I guess one of the main reasons is because I can easily understand his motivations. Along those lines, I also like John Thornton from the North and South movie. But I don’t quite get Mr. Thornton’s anger issues.

My least favorite character that I can think of, would be Carl, from Up. (Sorry I don’t have any book references. Movies are just so much easier for me to analyse. 🙂

I don’t like Carl (that is his name, right? the old man?), because he was shallow when he needed to be deep.

I’m talking about that last scene with the birds in South America before they go back home. He seemed… too happy. (cue the Wolf from Hoodwinked: “She seems happy… A little too happy… Ugh. Creepy.”)

Not that he should have been less happy in that scene, I just felt a hollowness in that scene that I didn’t like. I’m not even sure what they did wrong. I suppose it was a combination of the script and the acting.

If it hadn’t been for that scene, I think I could have liked that movie. But that scene ruined the whole movie for me.

I haven’t read Ender’s Game, or Eragon yet. They’re on my to read someday list. XD
