@ethryndal Sorry, I’m not sure I can be of much help. I rarely consider myself “stuck”. Sometimes I don’t want to write a scene, though.

Whenever that happens, I do some serious-soul searching. Why don’t I want to write this scene? Then I ask myself: can I skip this scene? If the answer is Yes, then I skip the scene. If the answer is No, then I do more soul-searching. What am I doing wrong? Am I thinking about this scene wrongly? What can I do to get myself excited about writing this scene? (that last question rarely helps me)

Anyway. That’s what I do.

My advice: if you’re having a hard time with a scene, skip it! XD  Take it with a grain of salt.
