@joseph_darkgrate Chainsaw. . . crossbows, you say? Should I be concerned?

Heh, I’m not sure if I go as detailed with my worldbuilding as I should! For my current story, I made two countries, Aimoni and Birkata, with a region (dependent of Aimoni) sandwiched between them called Cresba. I’m also working on a language called Aboreil that people in Birkata and Cresba speak. I have some characters speak it every now and then. It’s really fun to make; I’ve been taking some inspiration from the Japanese language. My sister says it sounds like a blend of French and Japanese. One of the best parts of making up a language, though, is that it sounds cool when you tell people about it. 😉

In Birkata, I have two main tribes, the Jirkana and the Sirakani. The Jirkana are pretty peaceful people, but the Sirakani are a fierce raiding tribe. Pulling the Sirakani into conflict with my main characters in Cresba has been fun. 🙂

*looks back over last few paragraphs* Huh, maybe I worldbuild in a little more detail than I thought. Not sure if I make it very interesting in the book, though. I’ll see when it put it out for beta reads, I guess. *shrugs*

I’ve been having too much fun with some manga drawing books I got for Christmas! Did a little fanart as well as some character drawings for SE friends. How was your Christmas?
