I haven’t read those three books but they sound like what I’m looking for. 🙂 What are they about? What about them did you find convicting?

Oh that side of the Hidden Hand, I had forgotten about that. I know what you mean, I agree it’s not something to be read out loud to younger siblings. Which saddens me a bit because I’d like to find something I could share with my younger sisters. I can understand that part of the book bothering you, in fact there would probably be something wrong if it didn’t bother you. But at the time I first read it I don’t think it really fazed me because nobody really paid much attention to what I read. I was used to reading intense stuff. But that’s not something I want for anyone else at least not at young ages.
