@kate That sounds like fun, I wish my little siblings were actually young enough for me to read to them, giving me an excuse for going over all those books as if for the first time again. 🙂 Sadly they’re too old for that now and have already familiar with the stories.
You make a interesting point about how of a writer’s themes often appear again and again in their works. That is true. I bet if I looked over a lot of mine I probably would find a lot of the same themes and probably agree with them just as much as when I first wrote it. 🙂 Sacrifice is huge in the Christian life, definitely a good way to honor Christ. Our inspirations for writing certainly do say a lot about how we see things and who we are. After this I’m curious, and feel like looking into mine a bit more. 🙂 There are obvious points that are hard for me to miss while writing, and then there are the more subtle influences.
