I do show my work, and, yeah, I really used to hate showing it because I never knew what to say when someone told me it was really good.  Now I say thanks and move on, or if they put themselves down (“I could never draw like that” etc.)  I tell them that it just takes a lot of practice.  I have never had someone ask me to teach them to draw (or anything art), but I suppose if someone asked me, I would tell them that YouTube has some pretty good drawing tutorials and to get drawing books from the library and just look for a bunch of good drawing resources that are out there.  That’s pretty much what I did.  I hope that helps, and I definitely have been in the same boat as y’all  🙂
