I actually have toyed with the idea of giving Sarsalor a nickname, but I can’t seem to work it out. Backstory that never makes it into the finished work has it that Saria used to call him Sir Sailor, a mispronunciation / misunderstanding of his name when she was a toddler that stuck for a while, but it sounds awkward anytime I try to weave it into the story. I don’t know what more “normal” nickname might work out. Besides that, being on a first-name basis with him is already much more intimate than almost anyone else in their town; he’s officially known as Priest Glyndove, and that *does* make it into the actual story, and sometimes I wonder if even that is a bit difficult for the reader to keep track of… xD;;
