Greetings!

(I realized a while ago that I really need to delete the email associated with my OG account, @anne_the_noob14 , so I made this new one. My other will still be active for a bit, but I’ll end up deleting/archiving/whatever the other one after a bit.)

Anyways, new introduction since it’s been a while!

Name: Olivia or Livi – I’m cool with either

I’ve been homeschooled up through high school. I’m a junior in college now, majoring in mathematics with a minor in music 🙂 I’ve been tutoring math through the college’s tutoring center for about two and a half years now, and at the beginning of this year I also got a job at a restaurant, and I’ve been loving that! I’m also working on starting a writing blog (plus a Discord server to go along with it, potentially) – and I’ll stick that in my profile when/if I get that going.

Aaand we’ll see how active with my writing and stuff I end up being 😛 College is kicking my behind in a lot of ways, and I’m trying to figure out how to deal with this thing called Being An Adult.

Current WIPs: Pretty sure I’ve talked about The Witche’s Owl before… It’s still in the works, and is undergoing a massive re-plotting and character development at the moment. I’m really excited with the direction it seems to be going! I also have a few short stories and bits of flash fiction sitting around that I’d like to do something with at some point, but they’re kind of taking the back burner for now.

Hobbies & Interests: Writing, reading, acrylic painting, digital art, photography, knitting and crochet, D&D, music composition, playing the cello, eating bagels, drinking coffee, learning ASL

Music I like: Heavy metal, actually (specifically by Sabaton), classical, folk, rock and roll, and hymn/gospel music (I’m not entirely sure what the difference is)

Fun facts: 

• I really enjoy origami, although I’m not great at it
• I have three houseplants: an aloe, another little succulent of some sort, and a marble queen pothos (sometimes called devil’s ivy)
• I own two typewriters
• I enjoy learning languages – right now I’m working on ASL, Russian, and Italian (mostly on Duolingo, but I’ve also been using some books and YouTube videos). I just started ASL a couple months ago. I used to be fairly conversational in Italian, but I stopped practicing it so I’ve mostly lost it, unfortunately. And my Russian is lacking as well, but I’m making progress!

Looking forward to hopefully being active here again, reconnecting with my old friends, and meeting new folks! 🙂

(If anyone sees me back on here before Friday afternoon, yell at me to go study. I have a final exam on Friday at 8am :)) )
