Hi, everybody! My name’s Maya, I’m really excited to be here! I was led here by the fabulous @cindy, who is just the bestest. I’m not primarily a writer- that is, I’ve dabbled in it over the years, but never been very good. I have never written a story, other than the little “books” I tried when I was 6 or 7. I have written a few poems for contests and I am hoping to be a singer/songwriter sometime after I graduate college. Therefore, I need to write a lot more:) I think it would be good for me to branch out from songwriting to some other types of writing as well, but I don’t really know where to start, so I’m excited about the help and accountability here. I am so looking forward to meeting all of you guys, and growing with you in our writing journeys!
