Some of my favorites:

LOTR (obviously, and the Hobbit, though I prefer LOTR over the Hobbit)

Narnia (especially The Horse and His Boy)

The Methuselah Project by Rick Barry (only kinda fantasy, basic storyline is that a WW2 pilot gets shot down and experimented on by a German scientist…eventually the pilot lives to 2015 and escapes and gets back to the US where he meets a girl caught up in this whole Nazi thing. It’s awesome, and I’m so excited for the sequel that comes out in less than a month!)

The Ranger’s Apprentice by John Flanagan (and all the side-series like Brotherband and the Royal Ranger)

I’m sure there are tons more I’m just not thinking of right now, but this post is pretty long anyway, so I’ll leave it at that. (And my list isn’t necessarily in order, but LOTR is always first.)
