Elina had breathed a small sigh of relief when the girl sheathed her dagger, but she still was unsure. She had learned, many times over, that blind trust was a dangerous thing. It put you out in the open and just hoped that everyone else would be kind enough to respect that, instead of knocking you down at the first sight of something they disagreed with.

But, she was alone. She was alone and had no idea where she was or how she would get back home. And after all, there was always that small chance that the people wouldn’t knock her down. Maybe, just maybe, they would even help her up.

With that, she made up her mind.

“I am Elina–” She opened her mouth as if to say more, but then shut it.
