I liked it!

I did not see the whole evil government agency thing coming at ALL. I was expecting something more like Sadie and Robert’s family would adopt Travis and it would turn into a finding a home and meaning even when you’ve lost everything of type story.

So that whole part of the book definitely caught me off guard. 😛

Travis seemed to have a lot of mood swings, like his personality was a little everywhere, which was a bit confusing. Despite that though, he is a great MC. And I mean, I haven’t done research into amnesia, so maybe that’s typical.

Sadie is just an adorable little marshmallow whom I want to befriend. 😀

And Robert…ok I swear you are either an oldest child, or just have the world’s best empathy skills. You wrote Robert so well and conveyed so many things that an oldest child feels…just wow. As an oldest child myself, I found myself resonating with Robert basically the entire time.  Splendidly done! *applauds*

Overall, great job! I think you have a well-written story with loveable, and genuine characters. 🙂

One question about the ending though; was that a set up for a sequel?

And, to answer your question, I like to write in fantasy, but I occasionally dabble in poetry. 🙂
