Thanks @noahlitle for originating the idea in the first place… and also switching the order around, even at last minute 😛 But I’m sure it made the story stronger.

@eden-anderson Aww, thank you 🙂 Even though it was quite some work, I think doing this made me fall in love with writing again in the midst of a busy semester.

And about emotional conversations — part of it for me is that in writing I tend to connect better to the prose than I do to the characters, or I’m more communication-oriented rather than people-oriented. But I’m glad the characters in this one turned out 🙂
