@bama-rose Thanks! I don’t really know the culture either, but I’m doing my best since I follow figure skating and know a bit of what they do.

And I’ll think about them glancing at each other. My reasons for not including anything like that (yet) are that since we’re trying to make it non-cliche, hopefully the peace that Min has after being forgiven is happy enough. But I agree that it would definitely add to the ending.

@eden-anderson No worries! I think that the ending could be made better, too. Right now it edges on an unrealistic happy (that’s how I look at it) It’s just the question of how, and of clarifying what exactly is going on without saying too much.

@noahlitle Yeah, this is literally first draft material. I encountered a lot of “how do I make body language in an emotional conversation?” places, so I just put down what was on my mind. I’ll go over it again, and please point out those places too. You could even go into suggesting mode and write other things out.

As for the order… I really don’t know. I realize that the flashback is long as it is, but I don’t think I want to cut it up too much, either. Why don’t you go ahead and split it into two or three sections, and insert those at appropriate places in the narrative? Then we can make transition sentences for them if we think it looks good.

@cassandraia Thank you! If you know anything else about Korean culture, please tell me. I don’t know much, so I may do some research. And @r-m-archer is right — the bracelet symbolized Tae-ki forgiving Min, without telling him outright and despite the fact that they still can’t really talk to each other. I’ll make it more obvious.

I’m glad you all liked it because it’s literally a first draft and I haven’t gone over it twice. xD Let’s do this!
