@Eden-anderson don’t worry. We all suffer from this doubt from time to time. 😉 @Ethryndal has great thoughts. I will just encourage you that wild self-confidence is a mark of immaturity, not skill, and doubt is a sign of someone who is honest enough to acknowledge to themselves that they are fallible. Honesty is so much more important than confidence. Stories spring from honesty, and the greatest stories are the ones written in humility.
No one can see the end of anything except God. I can’t tell you if you’ll be writing ten years from now. You can’t even tell you that. But pursuing the gifts God’s given you regardless of your anxiety about the future is a very special kind of worship. You don’t have to know who you are or where you’re going to get there, because God already does. Follow Him. I’m pretty sure He knows the way. 😉
