You know you’re a writer (and absolutely insane) when…

You begin yelling at one of your characters in the middle of a boardgame with your brother. Out loud. Because your character is trying to tell you how to play the game and telling you very obvious unhelpful things. And your brother doesn’t even blink since he’s so used to your craziness. (He actually started pretending to be a character he made up and threw my character in jail. Which was good. Until that character’s family showed up to figure out what’d happened. -facepalms-)
