@eden-anderson  I’m sorry.  I take stuff too seriously sometimes, too, but I often fail to think that someone else might take what i say hard.

So… I thought about another surprise ending, but it won’t be that funny.  What if the MC is the “wrong guy” and his captors end up releasing him after he has almost succeeded in escaping.  He also finds out that Ked was the one they wanted, and he betrayed him.  Sound good?  Then you can keep the prison scene, Ked, and the descriptions of turmoil. 😉
