@j-a-penrose I think the thing I agree with the most in here is pointing out what was done well. Knowing that you’ve done well can be super encouraging, and also it’s fun to squeal over writing. 😆 I’ve had the privilege to read one writer’s story as an alpha reader, and she’s so amazing as a writer that I ended up just fangirling the majority of the time. However, when anything came up, I’d be quick to point it out. Unfortunately, she’s been having health problems for a while, and hasn’t been able to write or blog. 🙁
