@mairin-atha I (personally) think the best way to use it is in a mostly regular story, but really simply. Kind of like this:

They say you live in the shadows because you are of the shadows. But a breath of wind in the lantern-lit streets on the moonless nights. The silhouette which flickers past, never fully there, but always watching.

I’m not sure how easy it would be to flow into a plot from that, but I think it could be manageable?
