Personally, I think the answer varies.

Yes, you should write even if you’re not inspired to, because writing isn’t always easy and it’s not going to happen if you just sit back being uninspired.

But no, maybe you shouldn’t write if you’re uninspired and forcing out the words is making you stressed or anxious or even less inspired.

There’s a balance to it, like there is to everything.
