@taylorclogston Hmmm, I tend to find that those extra layers of plotting give me a few more ideas. It also tends to flesh the character arc out to be more gradual that way…

The other thing is that it’s perfectly fine to write novellas! Look at Hope Ann. Her main style is in novella.

(If it’s a comfort to you, my Major Work that I really need to get done is a short story with a word limit of 6K. I’m on 29K and still going… Reverse problem? XD)
