Funny how people find strength in a mask. Put on a mask, and you are set for anything. But if they looked elsewhere, maybe they will actually find a form of strength. Strength should not be worn as a mask, no.

It should be a crown

Fun times with characters who spurt out those sort of things is good.. but so are scenes like this…

“Sheep?” Her voice sounds skeptical and I narrow my eyes.

How are they meant to be sheep? Please. I’m not that bad at drawing. I squint at the picture. Maybe I should clarify that those are leaves. Not wool. I scoop up a handful of small leaves from the ground and meticulously place them on the leaf parts of the picture. There. Now she should see that they’re trees.

“Oh!” she nods a few times quickly, “Leaf? Leaves?”

I slap my forehead with my hand as she keeps listing out different parts of a tree.

“Bark? Trunk? Branches?”

I stand up, walking to the middle of the clearing.

“Twigs? Sticks?”

I cough slightly, interrupting her flow of words. The wrong ones. I make a sweeping gesture around the glade and raise my eyebrows very deliberately. I shove aside the thought of how ridiculous I must look, drawing a picture of trees and a glade, playing with leaves, and now doing an interpretive dance to explain my name. Astute has a lot to pay for. And I’m happy to be the first one charging.

I don’t know. *shrugs* Depends on your taste.
