Lorcan had a good feeling that Cal and the other girl Ophelia, knew each other. Apparently they were in Latin class? It seemed Latin existed in their universe too. Was it also as big of an influence on the other languages as Latin was in his universe?

He glanced at Ophelia who was blushing. “Aren’t you being a wee bit harsh on her?”, he said to Cal.

“Like you would care,” Cal snapped.
He smiled in a mock pitiful way at Cal. “I don’t know who you are. But I can tell by your crazy hair colour that you’re someone who likes unnecessary attention. By any chance, is it ‘I will throw a tantrum’ day? Oh dear, I must have missed it.”

Cal scoffed.

He sneered. “And whats with the indigo colour? Couldn’t go with a less crazy shade? Or was that your only option?”

Cal glared at him, unperturbed by his insult. “None of your business birdbrain. And if you don’t meet me saying, you look like a friendless emo who has a parrot as a best friend.” She smirked.

Lorcan raised an eyebrow. “I suppose that was meant as an insult. Except I have absolutely no clue what an emo is.”
