Y’know, I think Alayna would love to meet everyone. And by that, I mean she would hate it. But maybe it’ll help her out. 

No. Stoppit. I don’t want to talk to strangers–

Alayna is now in the room with everyone else, whom she doesn’t know yet really because she’s late and they’re all strangers.

Alayna stares around blankly. She pulls her hoodie tighter around her and slumps into a corner. She doesn’t get why she’s here– people, ew. Please excuse Alayna’s wonderful kindness… er, lack thereof– to other humankind. She’s learning. 

Alayna is tired. Alayna sighs. Alayna wishes she had her earbuds and her music. That would be helpful. But no such l**k.
