Okay, I’m back. XD Had to take a weekend off for…reasons. May or may not have included hundreds of pies, the Bolshevik Revolution, and a controlled burn on the marshlands. 😛 (Read: I went camping and am trying to make it sounds super weird/mysterious/ridiculous. )

HELLO to all the new Guildmates who introduced themselves while I was absent! I see some familiar faces *jumps up and down and waves crazily at @Jane-Maree, @morgan-tailor, and @emma-starr* 😜

And hello, @sir-leeds! I’ don’t believe we’ve met before. 🙂 I’m Gracie.

That’s so cool that you do free-verse poetry. I would love to do free-verse, but all of my poetry WIPs have such structured/specific storylines it feels weird to put them in free verse. I would love to see some of your work sometimes! 🙂

I currently have three poetry pieces in the works. One about a time traveler who runs away from her responsibilities as a keeper of time, another about a girl who lives most of her life trapped in a bubble suspended above a city, and finally, one about a girl who is granted one wish and uses it to become a ghost for exactly one day.

XD I love how weird those summaries sound when I write them out.

Some goals I have: learn to write CONSISTENTLY, and actually FINISH a project.

Some skills I have: audio editing (courtesy of the SE Podcast), knowledge on how to theoretically create a compelling story (but little practical experience), and a ready ear if anyone ever wants to bounce ideas off me. (I can’t promise to give answers based on anything more than what I’d find interesting as a reader though as I’m not skilled enough to give actual writing advice.) 🙂
