Very cool! I’m an American from sunny southern California, but most of genetics are Scottish/Irish and I have the sunburns to prove it, lol.

Your magic system sounds a bit like Full Metal Alchemist, or some of Brandon Sanderson’s books (both of which I am only passingly familiar). Tell me more about it.
