Aaahh!! Hey Evelyn! I’ve been doing okay! Life feels kinda overwhelming most of the time, but I’m so thankful for what God is doing in my life.
How are you doing? I miss chatting with you and people like @eden-anderson *waves hello at Eden *
Did you draw your profile picture? It looks so good! I love the way the bright colors swirl around in a big majestic mess of inspiration. :3 <3
Ah yes. Life has been pretty overwhelming this summer for me but I’m skimming down on things right now to prepare for another year of school. (:

Ahh yes, good ole school! Are you excited to start again? Or are you kinda dreading it?
I am going back to Bible school actually! I leave for their 15 week term in September. It’s gonna be weird being away from home for so long, but i’m excited!
The comic is going great! With 6 of us total colaborating on it getting the script completed has been a little slow, yk trying to schedual times that work for everyone to get together. Espceically because one of the girls is from the Netherlands, and another from Australia. 😀 It’s going well though! We haven’t even started the drawing process but I already feel like i’ve learned a lot from the others.

Hey guys!! Aw, I’m missed talking together too! ❤️ I haven’t been very active on here recently. Partly because I’ve been busy but also because Story Embers isn’t the same for me as it used to…maybe I just haven’t been active enough.

Yep, I’m fairly excited @the-fledging-artist. I’m getting to study music and paintings (I’m hoping to convince my class to visit the art museum in DC since its fairly close :)) and British lit. I’m pretty optimistic about my co-op class as compared to last year so… fingers crossed. 😛 (I don’t actually cross my fingers but it was the only thing that seemed fit to say there. XD)
I’m mainly working on a time-traveling dystopian sorta-thingy, which I call 51. It’s definitely new and a blast, so just plugging away as I can. (:

Hmm. I have found the same thing for me. It’s pretty funny how I’m starting looking down at all the newbies as if I’m some old veteran of “the good ole days”. Sitting on a rocking chair, wheezing, and knitting. 😉

That’s how I started to view myself a couple months ago! Drained of energy. Greeting the newbies and realizing that I had been doing that for over six months straight. And then realizing I was standing there witnessing the moment in their lives where they are staring in wonder at a whole new world, eyes opened, jaw dropped, giddy with it all. Feeling like I understand all and feeling worn out and wanting to pat them on the head, “Just calm down, kiddo. Take it slow before you burst. This is the ‘normal’ around here… now don’t have a heart attack. Just watch all the glitter fade in a couple months. I know how this will go…”
*coughs* Okay that’s a bit of an exaggeration, but that is how I viewed it for a couple months. XD
Goodness, can you believe we’ve been around here for over a year??
Well the snobby/old feeling rubbed off a little bit and I’m back to being just one of those people that’s around every once and a while and kinda knows what they’re doing. XD
