“A horse.” Finn said quietly dropping Pia’s hand and walking over by his sister, “Actually me and Blondie saw the smoke from the fire and decided to follow it.”

“We weren’t sure if you had survived the attack.” Eliana said quietly.

Finn sighed, “Yeah… we weren’t sure either, but we saw someone riding Griffin and it gave us hope.”

“Oh, that was me,” Julian said. Finn nodded.

“Are you hungry?” Ellie asked.

“No, we ate on the way, but I am beat. Do you plan on making camp here? We can go on if you want, I can still continue, but it’s getting late.” Lacey said
