Julian followed her into the water to meet Kallun in the water. He grabbed onto Ellie, pulling her onto shore. He noticed she was holding onto the gold piece, but it didn’t register to him what it was. He grabbed it from her hand and threw it over his shoulder then continued to pull her up.

Julian left the others to deal with Kallun and focused on Ellie.

She was unconscious but still alive. He pushed down on her chest in an even motion until she coughed. He stopped what he was doing as she coughed some of the water up, still not fully conscious.
