I echo a lot of what @writergirl said.

Clean romance is very very important to me, and as a writer of YA and adult Romance I know that sometimes that gets very difficult. Good ways to regulate your romance could be to have a family member read it for you. If that’s not an option for you, then maybe a close friend that you trust and you know will have a good perspective on the subject. Another way would be to think if the Lord were in the room with you, would you be comfortable letting him read your story or would you be ashamed of what you wrote.
