@anne_the_noob14 – I’m still kind of figuring foreshadowing out myself, but currently I’ve realized how important it is to have the future event nailed in massive detail. Plotted out to the maximum. This way, even if all that information doesn’t actually get written down, it’s easier to weave it in. Also, big actions don’t happen without a lot of thinking beforehand. I have one character who’s really mad at his parents, and though he hasn’t actually lashed out at them yet, he’s boiling, being extra icy and slamming around and stuff. This leads up to an eventual confrontation.

I hope there’s something up there that makes sense and isn’t too confusing. xD
