Am I too late for this?
This is such a great topic…it’s reminded me to stop pretending that I’m the only person who has writing problems. 😬
One of the hard things for me would go along the lines of what you said; people not taking me seriously or not being interested in my writing. I tell people I write and they just kind of look at me and than shrug and are like “cool.” But even worse than that, is the lack of support from family and friends…I love my family so crazy much, but they don’t really seem to care about my writing. And that’s super hard to deal with. It hurts and I don’t really know what to do because I can’t go up to them and be like “YOU NEED TO SUPPORT ME IN THIS!” But I feel like I desperately need it.
Okay, I’ll stop whining now.
I have this little nagging feeling that tells me I need to accomplish something big before I actually tell people I’m a writer so I seem legit.@gabriellepollack So, I’m not the only one who deals with this?
