sometimes you have to be active in the fandom, if it’s small, which is really getting other people to read or watch the show. like, i’m in the Ruby Red fandom. It being very, very small, I have to make myself known as a person from that fandom

if the fandom is big, such as star wars or Percy Jackson, you don’t have to be as active. I’m in the percy Jackson fandom and I haven’t picked up one of the original books in about five years, get it?
