“Nope.” Ben’s lop-sided grin widened. “My favorite band, only found in my universe actually so kinda a one-universe hit wonder, eh?” He snickered. “Um, do you mind if we…maybe move over by the food? I’m starving…” Shifting from foot to foot he waited for her answer.

Amber smiled. This kid reminded her of her nephew more and more! And she probably should’ve picked up on his body language a little quicker. She really wanted to continue the conversation (not to mention get something to eat herself), but two girls in the crowd had just caught her eye…and curiosity.
“Food does sound pretty good right now. How ’bout you go ahead, and I’ll catch up to you in a minute?” Amber asked.

As Ben headed towards the tables, Amber turned her gaze back towards the crowd.
Now, where on earth did they go? They were standing right there a minute ago!
