It’s ok! I didn’t do a really good job of describing him to begin with, plus it’s kind of hard to keep track of everyone cause there’s so many characters lol. And I’m also very interested to see his and Niarok’s interactions – Basil and Misu are both from a modern fantasy setting, so he and Niarok are used to very different medical systems…
Lol I feel that. I still don’t even know how tall my own characters are officially, so that’s great… Niarok and Yila are siblings. Niarok is 20 and Yila is 17. This’ll actually be really interesting! I’m excited. I can imagine them both butting heads on the “correct” way to treat a sickness, but then also be completely nerdy about each others’ methods… idk it’ll be cool!
And yes. I have a frog named Basil. He’s really fat, and really cute, and hates me from the bottom of his heart unless I’m in the act of feeding him! He’s adorable and I love him. (He’s a White’s Tree Frog if you want to look up a pic!)
Can I just say that you got Lorcan SO right just there?! yasssss him and Niarok are such a TEAM! Go us lolll
YES!!!! *does happy dance* I was sitting there imagining the look on Lorcan’s face when Niarok gave up his most effective weapon and I was laughing so hard when I wrote it so I’m really glad I got it right! I LOVE THE CHEMISTRY BETWEEN THESE TWO CHARACTERS IT’S AMAZING!!!!!!
Oh, man, I can tell! He got my character exactly right. I wonder how he’s going to respond now people actually aren’t as hostile as he expected…
I’m honestly so excited to see how he and Niarok end up interacting. Niarok is literally a giant teddy bear underneath all his warrior gruffness, and I’m really interested to see how your character reacts.
Aww, I love frogs! Whenever I find one in the garden I always scoop them up to hold them gently. Same with salamanders.
Same!!!! Although I don’t get to do it very often as I live in the mountains and all we have are various species of vermin that, even though they’re very cute, are also extremely not good to hold… Whenever I go to a more amphibian friendly habitat, though, I’m all over the frogs!!!!
