A stiff-necked characer, huh? Honestly, that’s a tricky question. The only thing I can think of is to have your character know she’s lost the spiritural battle. So, outwardly she could remain pretty much the same, but inwardly she dreads that she can’t hide from the truth. She could act just a little more broken. My two cents.
