Jayce watched as Sharv and Shara rushed forwards, grabbing the insane fire boy. In a flash, he slipped his knives back into his belt and pulled his bow from his back. Knocking an arrow, he pulled back, aiming directly at Avery’s heart. “No!” West yelled, attempting to step in front of Avery. Somehow Shara managed to keep him back as Jayce continued to aim the razor-sharp arrow at Avery. “Don’t worry, I won’t shoot him unless he goes insane again. But if he does, I will be forced to shoot.” His grip tightened on the bow as he muttered under his breath. “And I never miss.”
