@the-golden-light *raises hand proudly* I am totally a Melanie Dickerson fanatic. And Captive Maiden was one of my favorites!! Please tell me you’re reading them in order! *hides behind hands* If you like her stuff, I’d reiterate that you should check out Melanie Cellier’s Four Kingdom books. They’re fantastic retellings!

Also, had to stick my nose in and say Eragon movie vs. book…*shudder* Them’s fightin’ words right there!! That was one of the worst book-movie adaptations ever done, right up there with the Ella Enchanted movie. However, full disclaimer, I own both. I just know exactly how painful it is to watch after having read the books. So, I choose to watch and pretend it’s a whole different universe for two hours…Definitely recommend the book.
