@rolena-hatfield Oh my gosh! XD Some say I’m a lil obsessed with Tink. I have a light up Tinker Bell on my shoe (some cool croc accessory my grandparents got me). I lost it once at school and a girl returned it when she found it, knew it was mine XD Everyone at school eventually learned that Tinker Bell was mine. Sadness, though, the dog I’m sitting chewed her legs off and they no longer make them anymore 🙁 So, now a legless Tink sits on my shoe next to her sparkly, non-light up sister. Haha, needless to say, I love Tinker Bell too! You are among friends! Though, I never imagined my Tink love would shine through my writing, so that’s super cool!

To answer your questions 1. I’m thinking she’s only half fairy, but I’m still on the drawing board with that idea. She may just be a bit of a runt. Either way, her size is something she has to overcome in her story, as well as the consequences of her size. 2. *rubs hands together and chuckles darkly* That is a very good question. 😀 To make a long story short, she stumbled into a patch of forest she should not have. It took all that dryad had to escape her tree and warn Maya away. And now The Dark Dragon wants Maya. 😀 *spoilers* Oops, guess that warning was a little late. XD

Thanks for taking the time to read and leave your thoughts! Showing & Telling are a relatively new concept to me, so I’ve been trying to learn all I can and work on it. Thanks for pointing that specific spot out. I’ll do my best to see what I can do to revise it.

@scribbles 😀 YAS! Tinker Bell is awesome!! I’ve always loved her on the Disney intros, but when Gail Carson Levine wrote three Disney Fairy books that started the Disney Fairies collection of chapter books, I totally fell in love with the fairy world she created! I’ve got almost all of the Disney Fairies chapter books.

He he, I know that feeling! The full draft is just over 6,000 words at the moment. It has a bit of a strange ending, cause I was in a time crunch, but I’m hoping to revise that too. Take your time!! I’m thrilled to have feedback on it at all!! I’m working on a different story with the same characters in the forest and it’s totally beating me up, so this is truly very encouraging and helpful!

Yeah, I’ve never been very good at titles…

*grins* 😀 I’ve been working on the underwater world for a little over a year, so I’m super hyped about it! Plus, I’m more obsessed with mermaids than any other creature!! (Except maybe dragons…)
