@phoenix I second the Young Writer’s Workshop! It’s excellent for community. I love SE and I find their articles most helpful, but the community on YDubs is far more active and expansive.

Goodreads also has a writing community which is fairly active. I’m not on there as much, personally, anymore, but I know there are several writing groups that are quite active there.

You could also try sites like Wattpad, Inkitt, Fanfiction, Fictionpress, etc. And, as usual, you’ll get what you put into any of these communities.
