Sorry I’m late to the party! I adore this post! Christmas is my favorite time of the year. (Wow, how cliche was that?)

“Sorry, your no-talent fourth-grader.” XD I died! Thanks for sharing! That was pretty good!

We’ve missed you too! I hope finals are going well for everyone! And work, well, hopefully you do a job you enjoy so it’s not so bad. 🙂 Did everyone have a safe and Happy Thanksgiving?? Anyone do anything fun? Travel?

    1. Traditions. Hmm. Well…this isn’t something I got to do, but I always loved as a kid coming out on Christmas morning when Mom and Dad were still asleep. I was usually the first one up. The morning was silent and gentle, peaceful. The lights from the tree cast such a pretty glow on the room. But my favorite part, every time and still to this day, is the tinsel. We never put tinsel on our tree. Santa always did that, so on Christmas morning there would always be delicate, beautiful, silver tinsel on our tree and around the room. Makes it feel like Christmas morning to me.

    2. Christmas songs. Wow, you really don’t want to get me started. Okay? Really? Here goes! I’ll try to limit myself! I absolutely, completely, and wholly ADORE Pentatonix’s Emmanuel. Their Little Drummer Boy is my favorite rendition of that song, too. They nail Mary Did You Know. Oh, and Peter Hollens does a fantastic Mary Did You Know too! (And of course, the original is so pure. Mark Lowry just worships and, pfft, David Phelps is phenomenal and I love Guy Penrod!) I also love God Rest Ye Merry Gentleman and here is a stunning rendition of that one. Kay, so I kind of like all the eerie minor key songs…so sue me. XD Let’s see, oh Kenny and Dolly have a fabulous Christmas album. (Once Upon a Christmas and The Greatest Gift of All are my favorites there.) And, of course, I’m a LeAnn Rimes fan and she did three albums. Those are kind of my staples, plus classic stuff on the radio. Oh, and let us not forget that I am ridiculously obsessed with The Nutcracker. I’ve loved it since I was very young. In fact, (baring my soul a little here), one day I dream of seeing the ballet live somewhere. And we could totally get into like Straight No Chaser 12 Days and go down that rabbit hole too…

Yes, yes, I think I contained myself well there XD

    3. Hmm, I don’t think I have any good Christmas stories. I did write one once, though! Maybe I’ll put it up on the critique board to polish it up!

Favorite Christmas movies anyone? Books? Anyone seen the new Grinch yet? Was it good?

Oh my gosh, y’all, Christmas Shoes! GETS ME EVERY TIME!!!
