Maybe we could even do a type of parallel story, but twist it so that she’s the Jezebel, and in thinking her god was displeased by not answering the pleas of the priests, she sought to give him the ultimate sacrifice- herself. But then she sees the beautiful thing, whatever it is, and… chooses life? Realizes that she wouldn’t be an ultimate sacrifice after all? It would be interesting to end it with her thinking that she’s found something that will please her god, but still somehow show that she’s wrong? That might be even harder than doing it third person though. XD
